We kept working with capable, committed business owners who were frustrated — not by a lack of effort, but by the weight that builds up as businesses grow. Too much admin sitting with one person. Processes documented nowhere, or documented once and then ignored. Systems that were stitched together quickly and never properly revisited.
The businesses themselves were solid. The foundations weren't keeping up.
